The A group led by Bridget Browne began their walk at the Kings Yard and made their way to the summit of Monabrack. They proceeded to a windy Bengower and back to base. The B group led by Ray Craney set out from Glengarra Wood and headed for Loughlins Castle

The A walkers with Dan Condren went to the Knockmealdowns where they did a circuit from Glenakeefe Bridge and taking in Dyrick, Knocknafallia, Knocknagnauv and Knockmealdown. The C walk was led by Maura Craney and Joan Lysaght and took in a circuit of the Boreen Lough in the Galtees navigating in very foggy conditions.

Eileen Ryan led the A walkers up through Coumlara and down through Coumiarthair in the Comeraghs, while Kate Fahey and the C walkers took a less well trodden route to the summit of Slievenamon, taking in Knockshegowna on the way

Dick Hennessy led the A walk taking in aeroplane crash site on Greenane West, Galtybeg and Knockeenatoung, while the C walkers with John G O’Dwyer did a circuit including the Bohreen valley and Lake Muskry.
